- To seek authority for the Council to acquire the former B. May Paint and Wallpaper Store at 9 High West Cornforth.
- To bring a currently derelict property back into productive use. Utilising funding from Local Authority Business Growth Initiative (LABGI) to purchase the building and Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI) to demolish and re-develop the site to provide enterprise workspace and training opportunities. It is envisaged that this will be managed through the Voluntary and Community Sector and could be transferred as a community asset at an appropriate time in the future.
